K9 Dexter and handler

Michelle Eaton

Dexter is handled by Michelle Eaton. Dexter is a Blue German Shepherd. They are currently certified in IPWDA Forensic HRD, PSARC Airscent and IPWDA HRD Advanced Crime Scene.

K9 Sasha and handler

Michelle Eaton

Sasha is handled by Michelle Eaton. Sasha is a Belgian Malinois. She is currently training in the Airscent discipline.

K9 Tily and handler

Amy Machinski

Tily is handled by Amy Machinski. Tily is an Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix. They are currently certified in NASAR Canine SARTECH II Area Search, PSARC Airscent, and IPWDA HRD Land.

K9 Pandora and handler

Amy Machinski

Pandora is handled by Amy Machinski. Pandora is a Belgian Malinois. They are currently certified in IPWDA Land Cadaver and IPWDA Water Cadaver.

Michelle is an ASRC Field Level I Certified Search Responder. She is a certified Paramedic and Wilderness first aid certified. Michelle is the Chief of the team and is the Human Remains Detection Training Coordinator.

Amy is an ASRC Field Level I Certified Search Responder and NASAR SARTECH II certified. She is also first aid, Healthcare Provider CPR Certified and Wilderness first aid certified. Amy is the 1st Assistant Chief of the team, Trailing team Coordinator, and IPWDA Instructor in Trailing and HRD.

LuAnn Gatti

Finnick is handled by LuAnn Gatti. Finnick is an English Shepherd. They are currently certified in PSARC Airscent and NASAR Wilderness Airscent Level II.

K9 Ava and handler

Ava is handled by LuAnn Gatti. Ava is a German Shepard and is currently certified in Trailing through IPWDA, and training in HRD.

K9 Lexi and handler

Kathy Lamb

Lexi is handled by Kathy Lamb. Lexi is an Airdale Terrier. They are certified in Airscent through PSARC and IPWDA HRD Advanced Crime Scene.

K9 Billie and handler

Billie is handled by Kathy Lamb. Billie is an English Shepard. They are certified in NASAR Canine SARTECH II Area Search, certified in PSARC Airscent, and IPWDA HRD Land.

LuAnn is an ASRC Field Level I Certified Search Responder. She is first aid, Healthcare CPR certified and Wilderness first aid certified . LuAnn is the team President, Group Training Officer, and Membership Coordinator. LuAnn is also a NASAR Lead Instructor and Evaluator and an ASRC Credentialing Board Evaluator.

Kathy is an ASRC Field Level I Certified Search Responder, NASAR SARTECH II certified, IPWDA Land HRD Certified and a ASRC Board Rep. She is a Registered Nurse, Healthcare CPR certified and Wilderness first aid certified. Kathy is the Airscent Training Coordinator and is also the team Treasurer.

K9 Crawford and handler

Meagan Sullivan

Crawford is handled by Meagan. Crawford is a Labrador retriever. They are currently certified in Trailing through IPWDA. Meagan is an ASRC Field Level II Certified Search Responder. She is first aid, Healthcare Provider CPR Certified and Wilderness first aid certified .

Katie Pyrdek

Duncan is handled by Katie Pyrdek. Duncan is a German Short haired Pointer. They are currently certified in Trailing through IPWDA, and training in HRD. Katie is an ASRC Field Level II Certified Search Responder. She is a Registered Nurse, Pre-Hospital RN, Healthcare CPR certified and Wilderness first aid certified.

K9 Lily and handler

Colleen Benson

Lily is handled by Colleen Benson. Lily is a Jack Russell Terrier and certified in Trailing through IPWDA, and training in HRD. Colleen is an ASRC Field Level II Certified Search Responder, Healthcare CPR certified and Wilderness first aid certified. She is trained in managing search operations, and a certified EMT. Colleen is 2nd Assistant Chief of the team.

K9 Envy and handler

Tammy Knapp

Envy is handled by Tammy Knapp. Envy is a German Shepherd and currently training in Trailing. Tammy is an ASRC Field Level III Qualified Search Responder. She is first aid and Healthcare Provider CPR certified.

Ben Owens

Ben is an ASRC Field Level I Certified Search Responder, as well as a FAA licenced Remote Pilot. He is first aid and Healthcare Provider CPR certified.

Kacey Owens

Kacey is an auxiliary team member. She assists with Public Relations and fundraising events for the team.

Kristen Tingley

Kristen is an auxiliary team member. She assists with Public Relations and fundraising events for the team.

Tim Gruzosky

Tim is an auxiliary team member. He assists with Public Relations and fundraising events for the team. Tim is an certified EMT and is also the Website Coordinator for the team.

Steven McIntyre

Steven is an auxiliary team member. He assists with Public Relations and fundraising events for the team.

Mike Machinski

Mike is an auxiliary team member. He assists with Public Relations and fundraising events for the team.

K9 Eli and handler Amy Machinski

Eli was handled by Amy Machinski. He is a Treeing Walker Red Tick Coon Hound. They were certified in Trailing through IPWDA as well as IPWDA Forensic Level HRD and IPWDA HRD Advanced Crime Scene. Thank you for your service to your community K9 Eli!

In Memory

K9 Broadway

Broadway was Michelle Eaton's K9 partner. She was certified by IPWDA in basic cadaver search. She also trained and worked in water cadaver search as well as air scent. She passed through the rainbow bridge in 2016.

K9 Doogan

LuAnn Gatti's first partner was Doogan. He was a German shepherd and was certified as PSARC air scent specialists and IPWDA basic land and water cadaver search. He passed through the rainbow bridge in 2018.

K9 Zoe

LuAnn and Adam's beloved K9 Zoe was certified in IPWDA Trailing and Basic and Water Cadaver. She enjoyed home retirement with her 3 canine siblings. She passed through the rainbow bridge in 2024.

K9 Chance

Gust Argus was sadly unable to witness the pup he trained bloom with his new handler, Kirk. Chance was IPWDA Basic and Crime Scene HRD Certified until the time of his retirement on the shores of Delaware. He passed through the rainbow bridge in 2024.

It is with great sadness that we move teammate Gust Argerus from active handler to our memorial section. Gust joined our team in 2012 as a ground search responder. He quickly made the transition to K9 handler with his first partner Chance (Golden Retriever) . They traveled to many seminars to continuously improve their working relationship. Together, they were certified in IPWDA Basic Land Cadaver and Water recovery. A few years ago, Gust adopted his second K9 partner, Pandora (Malinois). He was hoping to test her soon on the IPWDA Basic Land Cadaver. Gust passed away on November 29th, 2021, following a brief illness. He was not just our teammate; he was our friend and a member of our search and rescue family. While you are gone, your legacy lives on through our many memories of our time together. Thank you for the laughter, the support and the friendship. Rest in peace; we'll take it from here.
